Shame what is it? The belief that we are wrong. Not that we have done wrong but that we are wrong. Where did we get this idea? Religious conditioning and societal and family conditioning which was used to control and help us to "be good" and behave. We need some moral compass to navigate society and yet how is it so overdone? It is part of the human experience and yet, I believe that it is not at all a part of our soul. I believe that our souls are not defined by egoic limitations. When we continuously strive to be perfect how do we ever say that we are enough? Can we say I am enough, I am perfect just as I am, My whole self is perfect and has never been harmed. Yes, we have goals and targets to move towards. We do not have to beat ourselves over the head or give up altogether if do not feel we are on path. Like a journey, we pick it up and put it down and pick it back up again. Our soul is pushing us forward to experience ,explore and develop. We can choose to keep moving forward, meditating and exercising for example, on most days ,maybe not every day. I can still choose to love myself even in my perception of imperfection. I can know I am whole and perfect as an eternal being who came to earth to experience the five dimensional world. I can learn to see the universe and myself, in process of continual growth and yet whole and perfect at the same time. XOXO Julie T
